Season 24 of LPBW is premiering soon and rumors are swirling that the series may have been canceled by TLC.
According to an exclusive report from The Sun, someone who attended Pumpkin Season at Roloff Farms had an opportunity to talk to Matt about the show.
Sadly, Matt spilled some unfortunate beans about the future of the series. Is TLC pulling the plug on the Roloff family?
Matt Roloff hints LPBW canceled by TLC?
Season 24 of Little People, Big World is happening. It has already been filmed, produced, and a new episode airs next week. It, however, sounds like Matt Roloff hinted to a fan who attended Pumpkin Season at Roloff Farms that Season 25 of LPBW was not happening. What did Matt Roloff allegedly say that has fans thinking the series has been canceled ahead of the Season 24 premiere?
The fan who spoke to The Sun, claims Matt said there hasn’t been any discussion or interest in doing a Season 25 as far as the network is concerned. The individual also claims Matt admitted he’s just not sure he sees the show going much further.
The way Matt spoke to the fan, it sounds as if the family is still finishing up filming the remainder of Season 24. And, Matt just isn’t sure if the family really has any desire to do more episodes after finishing the current commitment.
Amy has painted a different picture
Now, Amy Roloff explained during a live on Instagram and Facebook after Season 23 ended that the family doesn’t really get told what is going on with renewals and new seasons. Amy Roloff continued to explain that they were actively filming with the network after Season 23 ended. But, there hadn’t been any talk regarding whether Season 24 was actually happening. She explained that the family really doesn’t know much about new episode schedules and learns of season premieres the same way fans of the show do.
It, however, stands to reason that the family would have to be under some sort of contract with the network if they were filming new episodes. So, Amy Roloff couldn’t be as in the dark about the situation as she claimed to be. Some fans speculated it was easier for her to just play stupid to avoid breaching any contracts or NDAs she may have signed. Moreover, it is just as likely that the fan who spoke to The Sun made up the entire conversation they claimed to have had with Matt about TLC canceling the series.
